Individual Psychotherapy
Adults | Groups | Workshops
I practice from an anti-oppressive, inclusion-focused and client-centered framework. I draw from the inherent healing properties of creativity, connection, movement, and nature, and ground my sessions in evidence-based therapeutic intervention. I specialize in working with clients who identify concerns relating to histories of trauma, as well as anxiety, depression, social struggles, major life changes, chronic shame, and emotion regulation struggles. I help clients rediscover or deepen a sense of safety and vitality in their bodies, their choices and their relationships.
I respect the complexity of your experience and we will always go at your pace, setting goals collaboratively. I draw from my formal training in:
- Internal Family Systems Therapy, a powerful yet gentle way of getting to know all parts of our experience that encourages a felt sense of calm, clarity and self-compassion.
- Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, a leading evidence-based modality that acknowledges the body’s wisdom and resilience, and brings somatic awareness into talk- therapy.
- I also draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, as well as Ecopsychology and Depth Psychology.
EDMR Therapy
I am an EMDR trained therapist offering somatic and attachment-focused Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (S.A.F.E. EMDR.) This treatment is a structured, evidence-based approach that is highly regarded as a leading treatment for trauma and other persistent emotional distress. EMDR helps the nervous system desensitize and reprocess negative memories from the past, neutralize present triggers and lay groundwork for a more peaceful future. As a result of reprocessing past memories, current symptoms of distress and feelings of “stuckness” are alleviated. Bilateral stimulation through eye movements, hand tapping, or alternating sounds facilitates reprocessing of traumatic and distressing memories.
EMDR is a specific protocol, separate from integrative talk therapy. In our initial sessions, we can assess and decide together if EMDR is the best approach for you.

Forest Therapy
I am a Forest Therapy Guide and eco-therapy practitioner, and can offer sessions in the outdoors as a way of deepening a felt connection to the living world, calming the nervous system, and nourishing the spirit.
Practice Location
I am working online at present; please connect to arrange an appointment by email.
I work on the traditional territories of many First Nations who have lived and continue to live here, including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenoseaunee and the Wendat people. I am a settler to this land and am privileged to live and practice therapy here. As a guest, I aim to live and work with respect and in right relationship with the original and perennial stewards of this land.
